About Andree and Jump That Broom

I am honored that you are considering Jump That Broom (and me!) as your local West Virginia wedding officiant.

There are many reasons for using an officiant instead of going to a religious official, like a pastor, priest, imam, or rabbi or a public servant like a Justice of the Peace or a judge.

  • Maybe you only want to legalize your union because you have other beliefs.
  • Perhaps you want to elope or prefer a fast and intimate ceremony.
  • Maybe you are saving to buy a house or to take a celebratory trip instead of spending on a large wedding.

All of these are great reasons to choose an officiant instead!

My name is Andree (it’s French — the female spelling of Andre. The pronunciation is the same, too: Awn-dray).

Jump That Broom is your go-to for your wedding needs.

Want to just say ‘I do’? I can do a quick ceremony. I can also work with you to create a more detailed experience.

I can write vows for you or create a ceremony that incorporates yours.

To be clear, I am not ordained through a denomination (Southern Baptist, Catholic, United Methodist, Latter Day Saints, or others). I am a Licensed Christian Wedding Officiant through the Christian Leaders Alliance (CLA) and am also an American Marriage Ministries ordained minister. My CLA licensure means I can provide pre-marital counseling and officiate just about anywhere in the world, but I currently maintain state approval in the state of West Virginia. If you live outside WV, let’s talk more about how I can support your special day.

Please note that I only officiate male/female ceremonies, whether religious or civil. These weddings can also include:

  • Candle lighting
  • Jump the broom/besum weddings
  • Lasso ceremony
  • Handfasting
  • Pouring sand/glass pouring
  • Braiding of the cross
  • and more …
